How to rename Server-side Outlook Add-in for Microsoft Outlook?

Steps for individual users to rename the add-in:
- Go to Email Integration > Groupware Settings > Settings. (If you are in new UI, select Tenant Settings)
- Click on the button "show manifest".
- Copy the content to an empty XML file named "manifest.xml" and save it.
For new UI view, please refer to the screenshot below.
For old UI view, please refer to the screenshot below. - Modify the display name in the XML file by modifying the default value of the label bt:String id="openButtonLabel"
- Save the change.
- Start Outlook client, and click on the button "Get Add-ins".
- Go to My add-ins, and then click on the button "Add a custom add-in".
- Upload the XML file you modified.
Steps for administrators to mass rename the add-in for all users:
- Log in to the tenant.
- Go to Email Integration > Groupware Settings > Settings. (If you are in new UI, select Tenant Settings)
- Click on the button "show manifest".
- Copy the content to an empty XML file named "manifest.xml" and save it.
- Modify the display name in the XML file by modifying the default value of the label bt:String id="openButtonLabel"
- Save the change.
- Mass deploy it to end users.
*Note: please remove/uninstall the previous Server-side Outlook Add-in before renaming it with the steps above.
