3489591 - Zero values are displayed when using Hierarchy in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Getting Zero values when using hierarchy while with flat presentation the data is loaded correctly.
• LOOKUP formula shows Zero values when using hierarchy, while with flat presentation the data is loaded correctly.
• Issue occurs on Table and Chart widgets.

SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise

1. Create calculated measure A with LOOKUP formula.
2. Try add Exception Aggregation, e.g. of type SUM, on this calculated measure A. (Note: Setting Exception aggregations directly on a calculation which contains a LOOKUP formula is not supported.)
3. In the Modeler UI Calculation Tab in the Table Preview add e.g. Account dimension with Hierarchy to Rows and calculated measure A to Column.
4. Result: Zero values are shown for the measure A column in SAC story.

Setting Exception aggregations directly on a calculation which contains a LOOKUP formula is not supported.

As a workaround: Create a new calculated measure B, which references the measure A with LOOKUP formula. An Exception Aggregation, e.g. type SUM, can then be created on this new calculated measure B.
