Symptom
The user has already approved the purchase order but still a new notification task with subject "Approved Purchase Order Changed" is created by system and sent to the user's inbox.
Environment
SAP Business By Design
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Home work center
- Select view Inbox
- A new notification task about an already approved purchase order is showing here.
Cause
A standard notification task is raised by the system if a purchase order is changed after getting approved once.
Resolution
To complete the notification and remove it from the worklist, you can acknowledge it as follows:
- Go to the Home work center ->Work view ->Inbox sub-view.

Select the notification.

Click Actions and acknowledge the notification.
OR
The system automatically cancels the notification after 30 days. The user can acknowledge it or wait for 30 days and system should cancel it automatically.
