Symptom
The CDP is integrated with both C4C and SAP ECC solutions.
When a customer is created in C4C and replicated to CDP via the connector, the C4C ID is mapped to the CRM ID in CDP, and the CDP Master Data ID is mapped to the External ID (SAP ECC) of the C4C customer.
Initially, during the creation of a customer in C4C, the Master Data ID is not available and gets populated only after replication to SAP ECC. Since the Master Data ID is initially empty, CDP sets it as None (blank).
Upon the next replication of the customer, when the Master Data ID is updated in the C4C customer, the customer is replicated to CDP again, and the Master Data ID is populated with the new value from C4C. However, the old blank value persists, indicating multiple values for the Master Data ID.
It is noted that the CDP system behaves incorrectly by retaining the old blank value in the Master Data ID.
