3491187 - Bookmark Current State not Saving Display Option

After selecting to show "Company" as "ID", and bookmark current state, SAC is displaying "Description and ID" when accessing the bookmark.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.2.8

1. Open the story.
2. Change the display option of a field to "ID".
3. Bookmark current state.
4. Open the bookmark.
5. You'll see that the data is displayed in the old format.

Classic story bookmark only includes filters, input controls, and prompts, so your change in the table display setting is not included in the bookmark.

The behaviour is by design and is not an issue. This is stated in the help documentation:
