3491262 - Proxy issue after Common Super Domain migration - SAP SuccessFactors

• Intermittently unable to proxy after Common Super Domain (CSD) migration.
• When trying to proxy the page reloads and goes back to the original user homepage or asks to inform the company Id again.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. When trying to proxy it takes back to the original account homepage.
2. After trying for a few times it might be possible to proxy.

This is a typical problem post CSD migration, related to service provider (SP) applications using BizX as IdP (Outbound SSO), sending logout response back to BizX in the old domain URL. This reinitiates the whole BizX login flow, including CSD direction, which overwrites the original session and prevents the proxy operation.

When BizX, acting as generic IdP, sends out Single Logout Request (SLO) to any SP, it is not necessary for the SP application to send a Logout Response back to SuccessFactors at all.
So, to fix the problem - in the SP application configuration, please check the property where the BizX logout endpoint is configured and change that URL to point to anywhere else apart from BizX. Or, if possible, remove that logout response URL configuration entirely. 

An immediate workaround would be- in Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Service Settings, remove the Logout URLs of those SP application entries that are sending the response back to BizX in the old domain.
This workaround, however, will cause issues like BTP user session not being terminated upon proxy & logout from BizX. So its preferable to fix this problem properly in the SP application configuration as suggested in the above paragraph.

Note: The aforementioned logout response url configuration in the SP applications is external to SuccessFactors, and hence out of scope for SuccessFactors support.
