3491368 - Employee Central to enable for Employee Central Payroll Tax directive date.

• Currently there is no field available in Success Factors Employee Central for recording the tax directive "Issue date". The tax directive issue date is mandatory and is required for mapping to the tax directive issue date.
• The tax directive date is issued by the South African Services (SARS) must be disclosed on the employee's tax certificate in compliance with South African Legislation.

1. Login to Successfactor Instances.
2. Search for South Africa Employee.
3. Click on Show Spotlight and then click on Full Profile.
4. Click on  the compensation.
5. Click on Award Spot Business.
   
   
   
   
   
   

Two fields in Employee Central can be enabled to record and map the tax directive Issue Date to Employee Central Payroll.       
     

1. The first step would be to enable the following two fields from Employee Central's Spot Bonus Portlet (payComponentNonRecurring):
   •    Field id: non-recurring-pay-period-start-date  Label: Start Date of the Related Period
   •    Field id: non-recurring-pay-period-end-date   Label: End Date of the Related Period.
2. The two fields are already present in the Succession Data Model. The only prerequisite is to enable the two fields using Manage Business Configuration.
3. You can also change the field labels to something more meaningful, like Tax Directive Issue Start Date and Tax Directive Issue End Date.
4. The value of the "End Date of the Related Period" must be set using a business rule to be the same as the start date of the related period. This is because of a system constraint where the start and end dates are closely coupled. The end date will be automatically populated but will not be greyed out.
