3491444 - Available Stock in Product Planning Screen Differs With On-hand Stock in Stock Overview

For a customer demand line item, open product planning screen, available stock is zero. However, there is positive on-hand stock in Stock Overview.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Outbound Logistics Control.
2. Access view Customer Demand.
3. Search the customer demand ID, select an line item, click Open Product Planning Details.
4. In the screen "Product Planning Details: Product_ID/Product_Specification_ID_1/Site_ID", available stock is zero.
5. Open common task Stock Overview, search product Product_ID, there is positive on-hand stock for product Product_ID in site Site_ID.

In Stock Overview, the on-hand stock has another product specification ID Product_Specification_ID_2, hence it won't be displayed in the screen "Product Planning Details: Product_ID/Product_Specification_ID_1/Site_ID", and it cannot be used to fulfilled the requested quantity of this customer demand.

System works as designed.
