3491451 - "Allow viewers to delete filter" setting is not respected in the work file of a calendar event in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

A story is created with the filter option “allow viewers to delete filter option” to unchecked for a story filer.
A calendar task is created with the above story set as a work file.

When this story is opened directly, the "Allow viewers to delete filter" option works and the end user cannot delete this filter.
However, when this story is opened from the work file of the calendar, the "Allow viewers to delete filter" option does not work and the end user is able to delete this filter.

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

As per the current design of the Public URL API, there is no way to programmatically know the URL API about this setting "Allow viewers to delete filter".  

We have discussed with the Product team about enhancing the Public URL API via a new variable parameter to let the API know about the setting "Allow viewers to delete filter".
We have created a backlog item in the development team to investigate and enhance to support this in the future. However, currently it is difficult to provide the timeline.

Meanwhile, we respect the customer's feedback and recommend you to add this requirement in our Customer Influence Site. Based on the number of Votes, we will try to re-prioritize this feature request in future releases.
