3491454 - How to hide Important Learning on the New Learning Home Page when there is no Item assigned

• Important Learning section appears on New Learning Home Page even when no Items are assigned to be displayed here.
• This section displays Learning Assignments assigned as non-required Items by Administrators and Managers.
• Normally it is Item assignment types Optional or blank that will appear here.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login into the Learning instance
2. On the Homepage of the New Learning Experience check the Required Learning and Important Learning sections 
3. Observe how Important Learning appears even when there are no Courses assigned

• This is as per current system design. No settings can control the Important Learning section's visibility currently.
• The section only disappears when there are no Optional or Non-Required Items assigned by an Admin or Manager but there are Courses in the Required Learning section.

1. When there is a Required and an Important Learning assigned, both sections appears
2. When there is no Required Learning but there is an Important Learning assigned, the only section appearing is the Important section. If hideRequiredLearningSectionOnLearningPortal is set to true, Users do not see the Required Learning section on their Learning Portal.
3. When there is Required Learning but no Important Learning assigned, the only section appearing is the Required section.
4. When there is no Required Learning and there is no Important Learning, the Important section appears and the display of the Required Learning section is dependant on the hideRequiredLearningSectionOnLearningPortal setting.

When hideRequiredLearningSectionOnLearningPortal is set to false, the Required Learning section will not disappear even if it is empty and the User will see a congratulatory message as positive reinforcement that they are up-to-date on Required Learnings.
