3491801 - Mass Offer Approvals - Error with Template "The following field types are not supported for this template:(fieldtype)."

When you use Mass Create for offer approval, the following error is displayed:

The following field types aren't supported for this template: (fieldtype). Use the legacy Offer Approval feature in order to use this offer template.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Recruiting > Job Requisition > Candidate Applications > Move Candidates to "Offer" Status
   Double check if the Recruiter have access to Take Action > Offer > Offer Approval
2. Recruiting > Job Requisition > Offers Link
3. Select "Not Started" as the Status
4. Select a Requisition Template in "Filter by Requisition Template Name"
5. Select 1 or more candidates for Job Offer.
6. Click "Create Offer"

At this stage, the error will be prompted.

You have selected a field type that is not supported in Mass Offer Approval.

To solve this issue, you can remove the object fields from your offer template or, if this is not possible, you can use a custom picklist field as a workaround to hold the data that are previously provided by these object based field.

Note that you can also use normal offer approval from the application page, since individual offer letter through Legacy version of Offer Approval supports object type.
