Afterwards, when maintaining settings for activity-based consolidation of investments, configuration step SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting > Consolidation of Investments > Define Default Sequence of Activities (t-code CXI3) is still empty and needs to be defined.

Another symptom may be that a runtime error MESSAGE_TYPE_X in class CL_FINCS_COI_ACT_PREPARE occurs by running consolidation of investments task in Consolidation Monitor app.
