3491958 - Sales Order Confirmation Is Not Set To Successful When You Use Output Channel As XML And The Status Remains Pending

Sales Order Confirmation is not set to successful when you use output channel as XML and the status remains Pending always and you have another output channel as Email. For Email output the status is set as successful.

1. Go to Sales Orders work center
2. Go to Sales Orders View
3. Search for Sales Order XYZ(XYZ is the ID of the Sales Order)  
4. Edit the Sales Order and click on View All
5. Navigate to Output History
6. You can see two line, one is Email with status as Successful and XML output is set as Pending.

You have maintained two output channels in the Account Master data and XML is not maintained at the top of the sequence which is causing the issue. The XML channel should always at the first place.

You need to change the output channel selection sequence at Account Master Data as 'XML' is a first place. Please follow the below steps:

1. Go to Account Management Work center.
2. Go to Accounts View
3. Search for Account used in the Sales Order
4. Edit the Account and click on View All
5. Navigate to Communication Tab
6. Go to Collaboration Tab, you can see there two output channels for Sales Order Confirmation and XML is at second place.
7. Kindly ensure to maintain the XML at first place followed by the other channel such as Email.
8. Save your changes.

Performing above steps will resolve the issue for newly created sales orders, for existing Sales Orders you might to perform the dummy change to Output channels in Sales Order, by removing and adding the output channels again.
