3492186 - Data workbench error "Mapping for local object already exist"

Assign an external key to a record using ID mapping which results in the error "Mapping for local object already exist"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Navigate to data workbench import--> ID mapping
2. Select the required BO
3. Click next and upload your file
4. Import and you get the error in DWB monitor "Mapping for local object already exist"

The record to which the external key assignment is attempted, already has an external key assigned to it.

This is the expected behavior. ID mapping cannot be used to update the external key of a record, but, it can only be used to assign an external key for a record which does not have one assigned.
