3492259 - It is not possible to show a different default "Nudge" message for Personal Data Collection and Additional Data Collection – Onboarding

When clicking the 'Nudge' button in the Dashboard, the same default message appears for both Personal Data Collection and Additional Data Collection tasks. It is not possible to display separate messages for each task.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Access Onboarding Dashboard.
2. Locate a Personal Data Collection or Additional Data Collection step.
3. Click the 'Nudge' button.
4. Notice that the same default message is displayed for both tasks.

The message for the 'Nudge' button is defined in system languages, and both Personal Data Collection and Additional Data Collection tasks use the same source label.

It is currently not possible to set different default messages for these two tasks. You can update the message, but the change will apply to both tasks.

The default message is:

"Hello, You have an overdue task, {nameofthetaskhere}, related to your onboarding. Please complete the task to proceed with the onboarding process. Thanks for your help!"

If you want to customize the message, you can do so by editing the language labels:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Languages.

2. Download the default labels for the language the user is using.

3. Open the CSV file and search for the ONBOARDING2_DEFAULT_NUDGE_MESSAGE_NEWHIRE label.

4. Edit the label as needed and import the updated translation file.
