Symptom
Variance does not show the unit of measures in the charts in SAC.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC
- Create a new story.
- Add a chart. For e.g., Numeric point.
- Add a Variance to it.
- From Styling panel,
Scale : 'Thousand / Million / Billion'
Scale Format : 'k,m,bn'
Notice that the units are visible to base the chart, but not for the variance.
Cause
This behaviour is by design.
Resolution
By default, setting keeps the variance chart scale the same as the chart scale and, the scaling factor in the variance is not shown.
