3492393 - How to renew the SSO certificate

Symptom

The SSO certificate is going to expire and it's necessary to upload and renew the certificate.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator > Common Tasks > Configure Single-Sign On.
  2. Go to the tab "Identity Provider".
  3. Check the valid date in the section "Signature Certificate".
  4. The date is approaching, and the certificate has to be renewed.

Resolution

  1. Please contact the administrator of your IDP service provider.
  2. Download a new certificate from the IDP service.
  3. Once the new certificate is downloaded, log in to C4C system.
  4. Go to Administrator > Common Tasks > Configure Single Sign-On.
  5. Go to the Tab "Identity Provider"
  6. There is a button "Upload certificate" in the section "Signature Certificate", click the button to upload the new certificate.

*Note: please upload/renew the certificate beyond your business hours in case it causes a system down and impacts the ongoing business.
