3492461 - Error: "Saving not possible as the Pricing Status is not Calculated Successfully" when updating Sales Quote or Sales Order via Data Workbench

When trying to update a Sales Quote or a Sales Order via DWB, you are getting the error "Saving not possible as the Pricing Status is not Calculated Successfully."

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Data Workbench work center
2. Select the Update tab under Import view
3. Search and select the object Sales Quote or Sales Order
4. Select Next and upload the file
5. Select Next and Import the file
6. Go to the Monitor view
7. You can see that the file has ended up with error

When you click on the error link you get the file with the mentioned error.

The necessity that the Sales Quote or Sales Order must be “Calculated Successfully” to allow saving can be switched off in business configuration fine-tuning:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Open Activity List for Sales Quote or Sales Order
3. Click Maintain Document Types
4. Set the flag “Asynchronous Pricing” for the used document types to “After Replication”.

The Sales Quote or Sales Order can then be saved, is replicated to ERP and pricing is updated in C4C by the response from ERP.

Note: The Standard Order Document Type 'OR' cannot be edited. If you are facing this issue with document type OR, a new Z-document type must be mapped and used in its place to solve the error message.
