Symptom

  • The following information occurs in SUM log UPGCOMPONENTCHECK.xxx /* xxx is system id */
Software component without component registration: BI_CONT
n objects with srcsystem = 'SAP' found for component BI_CONT that will not be rescued by SUM upgrade!
Software component without component registration: SAP_BW
n objects with srcsystem = 'SAP' found for component SAP_BW that will not be rescued by SUM upgrade!
Object list dumped to file 'UNKNOWN_COMPONENT_OBJECT.LST_xxx' in directory 'var' of <DIR_PUT>  -- xxx is the system id
If checking the UNKNOWN_COMPONENT_OBJECT.LST_xxx, the following log can be seen:

  • In BW/4HANA system, perform the syntax check for FM WREX_GET_DATA returns message
Type RSCRMSTATUS-REPORTUID is not known or allowed.
structure RSCRMSTATUS doesn't exist in the BW/4HANA system which makes FM WREX_GET_DATA unusable.
  • In the source ERP system, perform the allocation by transaction WA01 returns error message:
API could not return Delivery Date for Article:
nnnnnnnn Site: xxxx. Updating it to default.
or
function WREX_GET_DATA cannot be executed
