3492603 - "Enter a valid date (for example 31/12/2024)" in Manage Bank Statements app

Symptom

In "Manage Bank Statements" app (App ID - F1564) while importing the bank statement file the below error is raised
"Enter a valid date (for example 31/12/2024))"

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open "Manage Bank Statements" app.
  2. Click on "Create" button.
  3. Click on "Import" button.
  4. Select the Excel file to import manually, and the error occurs.

Cause

The error occurs due to the "Date Format" setting maintained in the "Maintain Business Users" app.

Resolution

The error occurs due to the "Date Format" settings maintained in the "Maintain Business Users" app.

  1. Select the CB user used, under "Regional Settings" section, the date format maintained should be same as the one in the Excel file.
  2. Either change the "Date Format" setting maintained in the "Maintain Business Users" app or change the date format in the Excel file.
