3493258 - Program's duration display on new learning enhance search

The duration-based programs in the new learning experience enhance search displays over 1000+ hours, despite the actual program duration is only 12 or 40 hours.

• Step 2. Access Learning  (Enable New Learning Experience)
• Step 2. Search duration-based programs in enhance library search 
• Step 3. The program displays 1000+ hours. However, when you open the programs it will show 12 or 40 hours only.

This is currently working as system designed. 

According to our engineering team, the system is currently functioning as designed from the backend. This involves two aspects: Duration and Hours. 

• In the ILX enhanced search, the duration-based programs are designed to show the total duration of the programs, including both days and hours. For example, your program has a duration of 120 days. It is displayed in the search results as 1000+ because it exceeds 1000 hours. This calculation is based on the conversion of 120 days into hours (120 days * 24 hours = 2880 hours). 
• However, when users open the program, they can see both the Days and Hours of the program.

After several discussions with our product management team, we have identified the cause of the issue and have a plan to resolve it. In the upcoming release 1H 2025, we are planning to remove the multiplication of the number of days. This means the program duration will only be the duration written into the field and will not be multiplied by the number of days.
