3493338 - Effective Date Object Label Changes Not Reflecting on Existing Job Requisitions - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Changes made to the Effective Date on an Object Label are not displayed in existing Job Requisitions.

For instance, if you make an Effective Date change to an Object, changing its label from "Department A" to "Department B", this update won't be seen in existing Job Requisitions. These will continue showing "Department A". Only Job Requisitions created after this Effective Date change will show the updated label, "Department B".

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

Allow users to select only those instances that are active as of date in the Start Date field in the Job Requisition, Application and Offer Detail pages is enabled in Manage Recruiting Settings.

Resolution

If Allow users to select only those instances that are active as of date in the Start Date field in the Job Requisition, Application and Offer Detail pages is enabled, Recruiting Users will only be able to access data that are active as date.

To allow Users to see the changes, the solution is either disabling the Manage Recruiting Settings switch or make the changes in the Object effective as of date.
