3493398 - IAS Real-Time Sync Fails with HTTP 404 Error – Incorrect Destination URL in Onboarding

Symptom

Onboarding user sync with IAS is not working. The error is visible in the Integration Service Registration Centre (ISRC) event log as a failed sync event. 
Error: Event processing failed. Business Key: 1230-4243-243323-243-2432 Status Code:404

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Cause

An HTTP 404 error indicates the Destination URL in the Integration Service Registration Centre (ISRC) is incorrect or contains an invalid company ID, preventing the system from locating the IAS tenant endpoint.

Resolution

    1. Admin Center > Integration Service Registration Centre (ISRC)
    2. Locate the IAS real-time sync service entry
    3. Click 'Services Details'
    4. Locate the 'Destination URL' field
    5. Verify URL format (Sample URL: https://<TenantID>/ipsproxy/service/api/v1/systems/<Source System Id>) 
    6. Correct the URL and save
    7. Re-trigger the sync event for the affected user
     
    Note: If 404 persists after correction, raise a ticket under LOD-SF-PLT. 
    Verification: Monitor ISRC event log; confirm next sync = 'Success'.
