3493416 - Check availability grayed out for customer demand

Check availability button of a customer demand is grayed out and due to that, the availability cannot be checked.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to Customer Demand view.
3. Find Customer Demand ABC (ABC means Customer Demand ID).
4. Notice that Actions button is grayed out.
5. With Action button grayed out, Check Availability button is also grayed out.

The product without quantity available stock was selected instead of the correct one.

It is necessary to check under Products View in Supply Planning work center if there are more products with a different Supply Planning Area, and if the correct one was selected when the order was created. Sometimes the product with 0 quantity availability stock might be chosen, instead of the product with available stock, so check availability will not work. If this happens, it’s necessary to cancel this order and create another with the correct product.
