3493496 - Resume connection skip tran encounters signal 11 and generates core file for SRS

Symptom

  • DSI down with error reported in SRS error log:
    E. 2024/07/01 01:26:48. ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(104(1) <server>.<db>) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(4270)
        Message from server: Message: 233, State 2, Severity 16 -- 'The column <column> in table <table> does not allow null values.
  • When execute 'resume connection ... skip tran', SRS crashed with Signal 11 error and generated a core file. Stack trace like:
         exc__appDumpStack ()
         exc_terminate ()
         bsd_catch_signal ()
         ll_del ()
         mem_free ()
         _dsi_log_xact ()
         dsi__ProcessSpecial ()
         dsi_DispatchGroups ()
         dsi__SchedulerBody ()
         dsi__SchedulerWrapper ()
         srv__start_function ()
  • After server reboot, DIST #20022 of BAD ENTRY error might raised and DIST can't be started
