3493527 - SAP CPQ - BRIM integration: Unable to change future dated contract

• You have implemented CPQ-BRIM integration to create and change SAP contracts via CPQ.
• However, for future dated contracts you are unable to do mid-term change or update quantity etc.
• For instance, you created a contract which is in the future month from the current date.
  So the contract is technically not active.
• But later when you decide to add one more quantity in the same existing contract in CPQ, it shows as planned and does not let us add it to the CPQ asset table in the quote.
• And since you want to now update the future contract with updated quantity, this forces us to cancel the existing contract and create a new one.

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Go to CPQ quote
2. And try to pull asset by clicking '+' button and add a future dated contract
3. It is greyed out.

Phased contracts are not supported in CPQ. 

CPQ does not support Phased Contracts.

CPQ supports changes to future dated contract which are created as following steps:

1. Create contract where start date is 10-7-2024, end date is 10-07-2025.
2. Create a new quote & pull the contract created in step 1 as asset.
3. Apply any change process & change the Activation date to some future date, 01-12-2024. [Changes will be effective on this date]
4. Create new quote & load asset.
5. This time, changes will be allowed to the future contract.

Note: Phased contracts are not visible in Asset Model anymore from 2408 release.
