WorkForce Software's Policy on Translations
WorkForce Software provides its products in many languages in recognition of its global customer base. This article describes which languages are available, the process for adding further languages, and the scope of the translation (not all components are necessarily translated).
When a new language is added, it is for the most recent version only and is not backported to earlier versions. Therefore, this list should be used with care for existing customers.

About Languages in the WorkForce Suite
Certain elements of the WorkForce Suite, such as the titles of Hub and Assistant cards, the menu bar, and the next-generation screens can be translated only into the languages that are supported by the WorkForce Suite platform. These translations reside within the Suite platform and apply to all customers using that language. It is currently not possible to have customer-specific translations for these elements. For more details, see the WorkForce Suite Configuration Guide.
Exceptions Regarding the WT&A and Demand Scheduling Products
- The Absence (ACT) module of WT&A has limited translation capabilities for compliance reasons and is not available in Arabic or Hebrew.
- A global version of the One-Touch Callout feature of WT&A Job Scheduling (formerly known as Advanced Scheduler) is being rolled out. Please contact Product Management if you have a need outside the U.S. and Canada.
- WT&A Data Collection terminals do not support right-to-left (RTL) languages.
- WT&A Reports do not support RTL languages.
- The WT&A Analytics user interface, sample universes, and sample Analytics reports are U.S. English only.
- The WT&A Policy Editor is not translatable and is U.S. English only.
- WT&A Logs and Statistics are U.S. English only.
- Demand Scheduling (formerly known as WF&S) cannot support RTL languages.
- Demand Scheduling alerts support only a single language per account.
- The Demand Scheduling Staff Planner forecasting back-end application is English only.
Notes
- Any user-maintained data is not translated.
- In WT&A, any custom configuration must be translated as part of the implementation project.
- Regarding Arabic and Hebrew, we have introduced these RTL languages in WT&A 19.1 and 19.3, respectively, but there are known issues with some screens, particularly in Job Scheduling (formerly known as Advanced Scheduler) . Please contact Product Management before making any further commitment to Arabic or Hebrew.
- Arabic is only supported on the WorkForce 7100 terminal. It is not available within the Clock Manager application.
- Hebrew is supported on WorkForce terminals but not on the Clock Manager.
Other Components
Documentation, help files, and training materials are available in U.S. English only. Customers/partners may choose to translate these resources themselves.
Additional Languages
Additional languages can be supplied on request – although there will be a lead time. In all cases the customer pays for the initial translation – the cost will vary by language so please contact Product Management for a quotation. WorkForce will then determine whether to adopt the language as a standard, in which case WorkForce will maintain the translations going forward. Otherwise, the customer will need to pay for any updates.
