3494019 - HTTP RFC destination fails with "Connection closed"

Symptom

  • An outbound HTTP connection from the system gives an error after some time.
    It may display an error like: Error 1 during HTTP communication to <RFC Destination> (see long text)
  • Testing that RFC destination fails with "Connection closed" error.

  • The network connection to the target system works, the address that is defined on the RFC (Host and Port) can be reached/pinged.
