3494642 - How does the calculation for field 'Days in Status' works in Reporting - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When I create report including 'Days in Status' , how is this being calculated?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics

Resolution

The calculation is based on Calendar Days and not business days.

Also, there is no exclusion of days based on Job Requisition being on hold or not, it is based exclusively on data from Audit Table, so it takes into account only how many days a candidate is on that status

When a candidate is moved back to a previous status they were before, the calculation is not added, instead it will create a new entry for a new count on the same status.

An example of use case scenario:

If candidate is:

  1. moved to Interview Status on 1st July, 2024
  2. moved to Hired Status on 3rd July, 2024
  3. again moved to Interview Status on 6th July, 2024
  4. again moved to Hiring Status on 7th July, 2024

The report on July 7th, will show 4 Entries:

  • Entry 1 - Interview Status - Days 2
  • Entry 2 - Hired Status - Days 3
  • Entry 3 - Interview Status - Days 1
  • Entry 4 - Hired Status - Days 0

The days are calculated based on the Created Date of the previous status and the Created Date of the newly moved status.
