3494793 - How to import existing opportunity note via Data Impex Tool

This KBA outlines the basic steps and the information required to import existing opportunity note data.

Scenario: You want to update the opportunity note.

Before you import data, please make sure that the import template you are using is up-to-date.

How to export：

1. Go to the setting
2. Search the <Import and Export Data>
3. Click the Export.
4. Select Opportunity entity.
5. Enable the Complete Entity.
6. Choose File type - Excel
7. If the number of data items exceeds 25,000, filter them
8. Click the Export button.

How to maintain:

1. Open the Opportunity ZIP file.
2. Copy the Opportunity Note file to your favorite file path (Like Desktop) and open it.
3. Maintain the NOTE field in the existing opportunity note data.
4. Don't change the Technical ID and Parent_Technical_Key.
5. The other field you can ignore and empty these.

How to import:

1. Open the ZIP file that you exported.
2. Copy & paste the updated Opportunity Note file into the ZIP file.
3. Replace the file and save it.
4. Open the Import and Export Data.
5. Chick the Import, and choose Update.
6. Select Entity - Opportunity.
7. Click the complete Entity.
8. Choose the Ignore or Overwrite Blank Values - Ignore.
9.  Choose File type - Excel.
10. Upload the Opportunity ZIP file.
