Reproducing the Issue

1. Log in as an admin user.
2. Create an absence for the employee with an long date 5 years or more.
3. Click send.
4. Observe that the system takes more than 5 minutes to calculate the number of days and an additional 3 minutes to save the record and display it in the absence record.

Cause

Expected Behavior.

Resolution

The extended loading time is an expected behavior when making a request for an extended absence period. The field "maximumDurationInMonths" regulates the maximum duration, in months, of a given time type that an employee can apply for. Adjusting the values upward can cause performance problems. It is recommended to be cautious about adjusting the values upward to avoid such performance issues.
