Symptom

Error "Tax Country/Region &1 is not registered for company code &2. Message no. FOT_TXA031." is displayed when posting invoices.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Change Billing Documents
  2. Select the Billing Document
  3. Release to Accounting

Cause

For some countries, the RITA is not enabled yet. This could be the reason why the error occurs.

Resolution

The following page can be referred to for checking which countries/regions are enabled with RITA function.
