3495309 - Not Authorized to Access UI Application in Employee Master Data Replication View

Symptom

When accessing to Employee Master Data Replication View, the system throws an error "You Are Not Authorized to Access UI Application".

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer core applications

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator Work Center.
  2. Go to General Setting View.
  3. Click Employee Master Data Replication and error occurs.

Cause

The used business user missing the access right MDR_EMPLOYEE_REPL_REQ_WCVIEW.

Resolution

Assign the access rights MDR_EMPLOYEE_REPL_REQ_WCVIEW to the business user.

In addition, there is a similar access right named MDR_EMPLOYEE_WCVIEW which controls the Edit button in Employee Master Data Replication. However, with this access rights only, the error cannot be solved.
