3495518 - Text Format is kept in Visit Notes when Copying & Pasting Formatted Text

Copy & paste a formatted text in the Visit Notes which have the editor enabled, error messages occur.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Visit work center
2. Go the Visit view
3. Open a Visit
4. Click Edit
5. Copy a formatted text
6. Paste it in the Notes

Result: Error occurs. Example of error message: Tag <table> is not found in the include list.

As per the KBA 2834551 - Supported Formatting Options in Cloud for Customer, any formatting not mentioned in the table in the KBA is not supported and will result in the above mentioned error messages.

However,  in other Tenant, there is not the same issue and when pasting formatted text, format is removed.

If text pasted in Visit Notes still have format,  disable it by deactivating and activating the scoping question.

"Do you want to use formatted texts for visits and appointments?" in Implementation Project => Sales => Account and Activity Management => Activity Management, when  copy and paste text with some format in Visit Note, format is removed.

1. Go to the Business Configurations work center
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view
3. Select the current Project
4. Click Edit Project Scope
5. Click Next till Step 4 Questions
6. Expand Sales => Account and Activity Management => Activity Management
7. Deactivate scoping question "Do you want to use formatted texts for visits and appointments?"
8. Click Next
9. Click Finish
10. Repeat Steps 1 - 9 to activate the scoping

The Editor is available for Visit Notes but when copy and paste formatted text, it removes the format so there is not error messages when saving the notes.
