Symptom
With UDM, all RCM field labels and values in the CSB configuration are retrieved directly from RCM via API. To display these labels correctly in all configured locales within the CSB configuration and on the career site, any label changes or translations must be made in RCM. The specific location for these modifications depends on the field in question.
Once updated, the labels will refresh in the CSB configuration, including search configurations, job tokens in layouts, and category rules, and will subsequently appear on the career site.
Important Note:
- On the RCM side, labels are cached and automatically refreshed every 6 hours. This process cannot be manually overridden.
- On the RMK career site, labels are cached and refreshed every 12 hours, unless a cache refresh is forced via a site reload (saving the site configuration). Therefore, label changes will appear at least 6 hours after being updated, assuming a CSB reload has been performed.
Please note, the CSB Translations tool does not apply to new fields, so these will not appear in its listings. This includes new navigation labels such as the facets selection menu or results sorting options.
Additionally, once UDM is enabled, any changes made via the Translations tool to pre-existing fields (e.g., Title job token) will not reflect on the career site or in CSB. This affects filters added to category and job layout rules as well as job token labels in job layouts. This is under consideration for enhancement in a future release.
