3496129 - Cannot display currency symbol in an SAC Story based on live data model to a Universe or a WebI document.

• In an SAC story, based on live data model to a universe or a WebI document, no currency symbol is displayed in all widgets.
• The measures defined in the backend with currencies are not reflected in SAC.
• From .HAR file, there is no information related to currency (measure with currency) from the backend.

• SAP Analytics Cloud.
• WebI report / universe

1. Create a Webi document with two measures, one is defined from Datasource as currency, and other one defined as currency in the document.
2. In SAC, create a live data connection to the Webi document.
3. Create a live data model.
4. Create an Optimized story based on this model, with a bar chart, a table and numeric point chart widgets.
5. Selected "Display unit / Currencies" as Cells for table widget and enable checkbox for "Show Currency and Unit" for point chart.

            >> Notice that no currency symbol is displayed for both measures and in both widgets.

LDC does not support Currency nor Display Unit.
