Symptom
Number of licenses in System Overview tab is not matching with assigned user licenses in User management page in SAC.
Environment
SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC.
- Create a user in Security-> Users and give any BI role and save it.
- Navigate to System Overview tab to check if the assigned Business Intelligence license is increased by 1 or not in the License Consumption widget. It is increased by 1.
- Go to Users tab again and delete the previously created user in step 2.
- Navigate to System Overview tab.
>>Notice that the license count is not changed yet.
Note: After a significant time, the changes are reflected in the System Overview tab correctly.
Cause
By design behavior.
Resolution
License consumption in System Overview is taken from license services and updated every 50 mins in the SAC tenant.
