• An error occurs when attempting to reset transaction data using the APP in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• The error message displayed is "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FI." or " An internal error occurred"

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app "Schedule Accounting Data Changes" with the template "Reset Transaction Data".
2. Select a company code, and perform a run or test run.
3. The error message "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FI." is displayed, or " An internal error occurred"

Possible root causes for the job failure are

1. Error Message no. AC326- "Company code * is not in test mode"  
2. Error Message no. AA595- "Company code  locked against changes"

1. For the error "Company code * is not in test mode" (Message no. AC326), the status of company code * should be changed to "For Testing" using the app "Make Company Code Settings - Asset Accounting-Specific"(App ID: F7312).
   
   
2. For the error "Company code  locked against changes"(Message no. AAA595), unblock the company code using app "Make Company Code Settings - Asset Accounting-Specific"(App ID: F7312).
   After this change, the Reset Transaction Data operation can be attempted again using the app "Schedule Accounting Data Changes".
