3496630 - Individual Materials Subtab Missing in Purchase Order

In purchase order, Items tab, you maintain products with account assignment as individual material.

However, you see the Individual Materials subtab is available in some purchase order (items) while some not.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase request and orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Orders view.
3. Open Purchase Order ABC, view All.
4. Go to Items tab, select an item.
5. Go to subtab Account Assignment, user see Account Assignment Type as IMAT -Individual Material, but cannot find the subtab Individual Materials.

When creating a new purchase order, there are 2 ways to maintain new individual material.

Option 1

1. Go to Items tab, maintain required information.
2. Go to subtab Account Assignment, select Account Assignment Type as IMAT -Individual Material.
3. New Individual Material button appears and create new IMAT from here.

-> In this way, subtab Individual Material will not appear.

Option 2

1. Go to Items tab, maintain required information.
2. Select the item, click the New Individual Materials button above the item details

-> In this way, subtab Individual Material will appear.

If user needs to see the Individual Materials subtab, please follow the steps of Option 2.
