3496935 - Not Possible to Update Responsible Employee for Customers Via Mass Data Maintenance

You need to Update Responsible Employee for Customers Via Mass Data Maintenance, however it is not possible to import the data.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Mass Data Maintenance work center.
2. Enter the Mass Data Maintenance view.
3. Click on Import Customers Link.
4. Upload the file template.
5. Update Responsible Employee Via Mass Data Maintenance for Customers / Accounts.

When the import finishes, it does not replace the previous responsible employee but creates a new one, causing the account to have two responsible employees.

In the Mass Data Maintenance tool, the node for direct responsibility cannot be changed due to a business object constraint. This causes data uploaded through the tool to be created as a new entry.

the system works as expected.
