3497092 - Missing Navigation Attributes from SuccessFactors Connection in SAP Datasphere

There is a SuccessFactors ODATA connection and there is a need to get the navigation attributes in to Datasphere. For example here is a SF ODATA object LegacyPositionEntity where there are 3 Nav field. Trying to import the table in to Datasphere resulted in only 5 attributes and the navigation attributes did not appear.

SAP Datasphere

1. Create SuccessFactors ODATA connection in Datasphere
2. Use import table function in Datasphere and the nav attributes are missing. In the example of LegacyPositionEntity object the attribute  "successorNav","parentNav" and "incumbentNav" is missing.

Import Function in Datasphere does not support navigation attributes at this time. However the fields and data can be brought in using the DataFlow feature of Datasphere

In Datasphere the DataFlow feature can consume navigation attributes. This is explained under "Add a Source" in point 8 with example. When the depth of the source table is maintained as 2 then all the attributes with regards to the navigation attribute will be brought in to Datasphere.
