How required survey cards are displayed in the Learning Home Page and supported scenarios.

Required survey cards are supported on the new Learning home page when the associated item is directly assigned to the user.

When an item is assigned multiple times, it will only appear once on the user homepage. When a user completes the item, surveys will be triggered for each assignment. Completion of any one of the surveys will add all item assignments to history, and the item will be removed from the learning plan. Remaining surveys will not appear in the Learning home page. You can run the User Learning Plan Audit report to verify the details.

Required survey cards are not yet supported for curriculum requirements.

Since items within a curriculum requirement are not directly assigned to users, required survey cards will not be displayed in any section. Users can complete the survey upon launching the item from within the curriculum. To have required survey cards supported for curriculum requirements, please submit an Enhancement Request: 2090228 - How to Submit Enhancement Requests for SAP SuccessFactors Products 

Required survey cards appear in the Requests for Me section of the new Learning home page for the following non-assigned learning completion scenarios:

• When the completion of a learning activity is manually recorded.
• When the completion of a learning activity is imported through Import Data or the Learning History Connector.
• When a learning activity is removed from a learner's learning plan after a failed assessment because the Failure Action is set to Remove.

Note:

• Optional surveys are supported in the new home page as of 1H 2025 and will appear under the Requests for Me section.
• One program is represented with one card, and the survey status does not appear on that program card in the Learning Home Page. The Engineering team has confirmed that the system does not separate items within programs into individual cards in the assignment sections.
