3497299 - "Resource not found for the segment" occurred in case of routing rule based API Proxy in API Management

Symptom

There is an API Proxy that was developed for Dynamic Routing based on the SAP Blog: Dynamic Routing using SAP Cloud Platform API Management but when the proxy endpoint triggered with one of the defined paths the following error message appears:

"Resource not found for the segment XXX"
