3497531 - Document Generation Template is not being displayed in new RBP tool (Latest Role-Based Permissions) - Employee Central

When checking Document Generation Templates in Latest Role-Based Permissions feature, not all of them are displayed. However, if you switch to Legacy Role-Based Permissions, you can see all templates maintained in Manage Document Template > Document Generation Template.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to Manage Permission Roles > Manage Document Generation Templates;
2. Select Generate Documents > Choose Item (the circle in the right side of "All");
3. Open the drop down > Notice that not all templates are displayed;
4. Go back to Manage Permission Roles > Click on Switch to the Latest Role-Based Permissions;
5. Search for the same permission as described above > Notice all templates are maintained as per Manage Document Template > Document Generation Template.

Corruption with Permission IDs for the templates which are not being recognized in new RBP tool (Latest Role-Based Permissions).

1. Navigate to Manage Document Template > Document Generation Template;
2. Select the templates that is not being displayed in Latest Role-Based Permissions;
3. Click on Take Action > Change the Category for any other > Save;
4. Click on Take Action again > Change the Category back to the desired one > Save;
5. Refresh RBP page or access the feature again > Template will be now displayed in both Legacy and Latest Role-Based Permissions tool.
