Symptom
After deleting the values in the fields "Posting Category" and "Transfer Mode" from the Define Bank Account Settings – Bank Statements app, the settings are still displayed even after saving.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue

Open the Define Bank Account Settings – Bank Statements app.

Search for the bank account in question.

Click the Edit button.
-
Remove the values from the fields "Posting Category" and "Transfer Mode".

Save the changes.
-
Observe that the deleted/removed values are displayed again after saving.
Cause
In DB, all these values are empty after removing the values for "Posting Category" and "Transfer Mode". In the frontend, texts are displayed. it's suggested as UI requirement: text should be displayed
Resolution
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

Open the Manage Bank Account Settings – Bank Statements app.

Locate the fields Posting Category and Transfer Mode.

Clear the values in these fields (remove any existing information).
-
Save the changes. This updates the values in the database (DB).
-
After saving, the User Interface (UI) will display the text of the empty value.
