Symptom

The storefront or backoffice experiences degraded performance, slow cart operations, or high thread utilization alerts in Dynatrace. When analyzing thread dumps or Dynatrace traces, many threads are observed executing the following methods:

  • Cart.recalculate()
  • setCalculated
  • calculateTotals
  • CartRestorationFilter
