3498080 - Unable to login to CMC post changing Host name to IP address and vice-versa of CMS in its server properties.

Symptom

  • Error: Could not reach CMS 'hostname:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues. (FWM 20030)
  • Below entries may be seen in the logs

cms_XXXXXXX.CentralManagementServer|11246|22455001282432|| ||||||||||||||||||||||assert failure: (apsserver.cpp:1320). (0 : An unexpected problem (exception) happened.  Reason given: There is a significant problem with socket communication, The server has problems using TCP/IP. The port number you are using is probably already in use..Fail to create socket or bind with IPv6 to port 6400). "
