3498457 - [Main KBA] Blank page for candidate in Manage Pending Hires - Onboarding 1.0

Click on a candidate in Manage Pending Hires and only see blank "Add New Employee" page.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

1. Go to Admin Center >> Manage Pending Hires
2. Select Onboarding 1.0
3. Click on a candidate
4. See blank "Add New Employee" page

Cause 1: Dependent checkbox is ticked for "Work Permit Info" fields.

• Steps to check:

1. 1. Open Browser Developer Tool >> go to "Network"
   2. Replicate the issue
   3. Filter with key word "hrisHireControllerProxy.getNewHirePageV2.dwr"
   4. Click on "Response"
   5. See full application error message
         

Cause 2: Dependent checkbox is ticked for "Emergency Contact" fields.

Cause 3: Value of "candidateId" is blank in OnboardingCandidateInfo object.

Scenario 1: 2766295 - Application Error When Trying to Hire a Recruit From Onboarding in Manage Pending Hires - SAP for Me 

1. Go to Admin Center >> Field Mapping tool for Onboarding/Offboarding EC integration
2. Click on "All Fields" dropdown >> Select "Work Permit Info"
3. Uncheck all the "Dependent" boxes for the mappings
4. Validate and Save

Scenario 2: 2911898 - Add Employee Page blank in MPH - SAP for Me

1. Go to Admin Center >> Field Mapping tool for Onboarding/Offboarding EC integration
2. Click on "All Fields" dropdown >> Select "Emergency Contact"
3. Uncheck all the "Dependent" boxes for the mappings
4. Validate and Save

Scenario 3: 3226803 - Blank page when click a candidate from Manage Pending Hire - SAP for Me 

Manually maintain a value for "candidateId" to the onboardingCandidateInfo; the value can be the same as "applicationId". (Refer to KBA2419074 for detailed steps.)
