3499162 - Undo an Item Revision and revert to the prior Item Version

We would like to inactivate a current revision of an item and revert to the prior revision.

What are the steps to follow to do this?

Currently there is no function available which can undo an item revision since it has created another item in the system. Alternatively, you can inactivate it and reactivate the initial item created.

Example:

Revision 2 is created from Revision 1 where Revision 1 is inactivated as a result of the revision process. As no undo function is available, the user must inactivate Revision 2 and then activate Revision 1.
