3499308 - Error Ship-to Location Does not Belong to Ordering Company While Ordering Purchase Orders

You have created a Purchase Order however you are unable to order due to the below error. 
Error - Item 1: Ship-to location does not belong to ordering company.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to Purchase Orders view
3. Select the relevant Purchase Order and select Edit
4. Click on Check  button
5. Error appears

System shows the error in the Purchase Order document because the process type is To-Stock. When you assign the product with process type To-Stock, system will try to fetch the account determinations from the material master data where company assignments will be mapped. 

If you want to Order the Purchase document, you need to change the process type from To-Stock to Non-Stock and add the account assignment details to item 1. Then the purchase order will be consistent and Ready for ordering.
